Based in Ottawa, Canada, Textualis Press publishes limited-edition, hand-bound poetry books on high-quality paper. Our titles offer striking subject material published in well-designed, attractive chapbooks.
The mandate of Textualis is not only to foreground the work of emerging, local artists, but also to provide a venue for more established artists to participate in publishing in a craft form, or to publish at the community level.
The poems that appear in Textualis titles are lucid, thoughtfully wedded to form, emotive, stylistically adept, and arresting. We are the rear-guard of the avant-garde.
D.S. Stymeist’s poems have appeared in numerous magazines, including The Antigonish Review, Prairie Fire, Dalhousie Review, Steel Chisel, and The Fiddlehead.
